From August 14th through the end of September, a selection of images from my Vermont Morgan Horse portfolio will be on display at the National Museum of the Morgan Horse in downtown Middlebury, Vermont. There will be a reception on the evening of Friday, August 14th from 5 to 7pm.

Last fall, I photographed the talented Christal Brown dancing for Middlebury Magazine. What I didn’t mention in the technical description of that article was that I used two cameras positioned side-by-side and triggered simultaneously to make sure we got the shot. One, as previously mentioned, was a Nikon D800 with Sigma 35mm ƒ/1.4 lens. The other was a Fuji X-T1 with a 23mm ƒ/1.4. The Fuji has an APS-C size sensor, so accounting for the crop factor both of the lenses’ field of view are approximately identical. The setup worked and we captured two identical sets of images.
